David, had a managerial Business contract with Auto Bavaria in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia from 2001 to 2004.

I, Siegfried Schaaf was Heading the BMW Overseas Manufacturing in Malaysia  building 3 and 5 series BMW for our franchise holder Auto Bavaria from 1999 to 2004, at the Ford AMI factory near Kuala Lumpur.

I met David regular at our monthly operational meetings at the Auto Bavaria Head Office in Glenmarie and with my wife Patricia became friends with David and  Kathy in 2002 and remained good friends ever since.

Initially we visited David and Kathy while holidaying in the UK, and since 2010 August we settled and live permanently in Guildford.
